Role Overview
Responsible for leading and strengthening the group’s information security, building upon previous experience with security matters from a prior role as a software developer within the company.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Security Leadership
- Develop and implement Vertiseit’s overall information security strategy
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001)
- Lead SOC 2 Type 2 program across Vertiseit Group (Security, Availability, Confidentiality)
- Drive strategic security initiatives to continuously improve security posture
- Responsible for risk management, incident preparedness, and promoting a strong security culture
- Collaborate with teams across the group to integrate security into our processes and systems
Technical Security Management
- Build and maintain our Information Security Management System (ISMS)
- Conduct risk assessments and manage compliance requirements
- Ensure technical safeguards are in place and functioning properly
- Oversee security operations and incident response capabilities
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with CTO and technical teams to integrate security into development processes
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on regulatory requirements
- Partner with HR to promote security awareness and culture
- Engage with business units to understand and address security needs
